Today i went grocery shopping and the local organic produce shop was selling these amazing coxes which were just begging to have apple pie made of them. So I went to Morrisson's and finished my shop there - plus some blackberries, since the berry season is over and supermarket blackberries are really the only option, and some creme fraiche, because I LIKE IT. I got home and discovered I was missing an ingredient - no lard. No lard, no pastry, right?
So I made blackberry and apple crumble instead. And it was just as yummeh.
I might put pear in it as well next time.
